Nanokote WA coated a sample piece of stainless steel with our protective MetalKote 6 months prior to undertaking this work. Austal Ships placed the sample on the waters edge and left it for 6 months. Upon inspection the stainless piece was unmarked, corrosion free and still in new condition. We were then called to spray all the exterior hatches on the new and old Custom Boats. One ship had been at service for 1 year and back in the yard for maintenance. The picture below shows the top of the hatch, the left side has been restored and the other how it was after 12 months. The final picture is the end result.
